CFOTO #MakingWaves at #CPC22

In October 2022, Conservative Friends of the Ocean was proud to host our first event at Conservative Party Conference.

We were thrilled to have so many attend our launch reception and support our mission. We were also honoured to welcome CFOTO Patrons Sally-Ann Hart MP, Selaine Saxby MP and special guest speaker The Rt Hon. Penny Mordaunt MP.

During the event, guests were formally introduced to the CFOTO team and were presented with a launch booklet outlining the 5 key themes that will guide us in our mission of raising awareness of ocean issues, developing ocean and coastal policy, and taking action with our grassroots members.

We were proud to welcome guests from a wide range of backgrounds, including Government Ministers, Councillors, legal professionals, scientists, ecologists and many more.
